PromoStandards (PPAI 816699) has appointed Kari Banner as its marketing and communications manager.

Many within the PromoStandards community already recognize Banner from her active volunteer involvement with the Marketing & Membership Committee since February 2025. 

• She has held roles at PPAI, where she led member retention programs, strategic communications, partner programs and industry-facing marketing initiatives. Her background also includes work with Antera Software USA. 

Additionally, Alex Griffitt has transitioned into the role of member engagement and digital communications coordinator. Griffitt has been actively supporting PromoStandards through content creation, social media management and event representation.

Dubow (PPAI 279782) has announced the hiring of Scott Jensen as general manager.

Jensen brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in operations, supply chain, distribution and business management. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles with organizations ranging from startups to multi-billion-dollar enterprises.

• Most recently, he served as director of global distribution, North America, for Dexcom.

Storm Creek (PPAI 438091, Gold), PPAI 100’s No. 28 supplier, has announced its commitment to formal science-based target validation through the Science Based Targets initiative, via the streamlined SME route.

Storm Creek will submit near term and long-term emissions reduction targets directly through SBTi’s Validation Portal. Upon approval, it will be listed publicly on the SBTi Companies Taking Action page.

The company has chosen 2031 – the earliest eligible target year – and is committing to its full footprint, not only the portions the standard requires.

• Reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by at least 46.2% by 2031, meeting the SBTi Absolute Contraction Approach minimum of 46.2% (4.2% per year × 11 years, anchored to 2020, measured from our 2025 baseline).
• Its fleet transition plan – the first half to hybrid by 2027, and the second half to hybrid by 2029, trucks to hybrid or retired by 2031 – projects 47%–53% Scope 1 reduction, supported by a mileage reduction policy active from 2026 onward.
• Reach net zero emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 before 2050.
• Measure and publicly disclose emissions and progress on an annual basis through CDP Climate Change reporting and published Sustainability Report.
