Canadian Apparel Manufacturer Attraction Acquires Jameo

Canadian apparel manufacturer Attraction (PPAI 474094, Standard Base) has acquired custom apparel pioneer Jameo.

Attraction is known for its Ethica collection, made from organic cotton and recycled polyester, and produced locally by its unionized teams in Lac-Drolet and Montreal.
    • The acquisition sets Attraction up to deliver fully customized apparel with a wide range of additional options to customers within six to eight weeks.
    • The integration of Jameo’s customization platform within Attraction will be gradually rolled out in early 2025.

Sébastien Jacques, vice president of business development at Attraction, says, “The arrival of Jameo into the Attraction family will enable us to offer our business partners unique carbon-neutral garments in small quantities, delivered quickly. This is exceptional in our industry!”

Atlantis Headwear Launches Recycled Visor Collection

Atlantis Headwear (PPAI 753003, Standard Base) has teamed up with ReTraze to create innovative, eco-friendly visors made from recycled fishing nets and discarded plastic bottles.

    • Starting with the 2024 productions, Atlantis Headwear integrated the recycled visors into its collection. The partnership marks a major step forward in the brand’s ongoing mission to reduce plastic waste and promote sustainable solutions in the promo industry.
    • Since 2016, ReTraze has partnered with small businesses, fishermen and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to gather these discarded materials and has developed a vertical supply chain that transforms them into 100-percent recycled PE panels.

“We are thrilled to partner with a company like ReTraze, who shares our dedication to innovation and sustainability,” says Federico Pasini, vice president of Atlantis Headwear. “The environmental benefits of recycled visors on our caps align perfectly with our mission to produce high-quality, sustainable headwear.”
