Sterling, Illinois-based HALO (PPAI 106462, Platinum) strengthened its executive team by adding Erin DeCesare as chief product and technology officer, Ameed Mallick as executive vice president of the seller platform and Michael Snyder as vice president of uniforms. In 2025, the company named Jim Hilt as CEO, succeeding longtime leader Marc Simon, who retired after 25 years leading the company’s growth to more than $1 billion in annual sales.

HALO launched its “HALO Forward” transformation plan to accelerate growth, improve the selling experience and support its sustainability goals by participating in the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). It also completed a strategic refinancing with investment partner TPG.

The distributor acquired What’s Happening Promotions, which will continue operating under its existing team as What’s Happening Promotions Powered by HALO, while supporting the acquired company’s growth with access to resources and technology.
