Industry professionals are now welcome to apply to attend PPAI’s Legislative Education and Action Day 2026.
On April 21, PPAI members and staff will meet with members of Congress and their staff on Capitol Hill to discuss pending legislation and issues relevant to the promotional products industry.
- Applications are open through February 15.
“LEAD is our industry’s opportunity to amplify its voice on Capitol Hill,” says Alok Bhat, market economist, research and public affairs lead for PPAI. “By joining us in Washington, you’ll help shape the future of the promotional products industry, build relationships with lawmakers and advocate for the issues that matter most to your business. Your participation is critical in ensuring that our members’ concerns are heard and addressed at the highest levels.”

One key element of LEAD is educating members of Congress about the economic impact and scope of the promotional products industry, which represents a $27 billion sales market in the United States and employs roughly half a million Americans. Of the industry’s more than 45,000 companies in the U.S., over 98% are considered small businesses.
“LEAD offers an important opportunity each year to advocate for our industry through direct conversations with members of Congress and their staffers on Capitol Hill,” says Rachel Zoch, PPAI’s public affairs manager. “We achieved some important advocacy wins last year and hope to build on that momentum.”
