Picnic Time (PPAI 143980, Gold) was founded in 1975 by two friends from Italy who opened a wine and cheese shop and needed woven baskets to make a perfect picnic. The storefront grew into a promo company with 45 employees. Last year, Picnic Time was named to PPAI’s Greatest Companies To Work For.

In 2024, the Moorpark, California company dedicated more resources to its custom/DI team focused on bringing customers exactly what they want. It also migrated to a new, more efficient shipping software that helps identify and select more cost-effective and earth-friendly shipping options. The company also launched an award-winning sustainable picnic basket – the first of its kind.
