National Pen (PPAI 107176, Gold) lands at No. 63 this year after ranking No. 83 last year. From its founding in 1966 as a family-owned business in Shelbyville, Tennessee, National Pen was later purchased by Dutch global tech company Cimpress. Last year, Bryan Kranik was named the new CEO of Cimpress, which owns other firms in the promo industry.

Through a comprehensive website, the distributor helps businesses bring their brands to life with an array of promo products including writing instruments, drinkware, bags, stationary/office products and apparel. Many of the writing instruments it sells are still manufactured and assembled at its factory in Shelbyville.
