After 30 years in promotional products, Buffalo Bay (PPAI 111547, S4) is exiting the industry.
The Greensboro, North Carolina-based company has announced that its custom neckwear division will shut down on May 1. The supplier will continue to fill current orders, as well as accept new and repeat orders through the end of February.
“This is an incredibly difficult decision,” says Bruce Crockett, president and founder of Buffalo Bay. “We value our customers immensely and can’t thank them enough for their support and friendship through the years. The relationships we have forged, and the collaboration of ideas and project involvement have been rewarding in so many ways.”
Industry Collaboration
However, Buffalo Bay says it has formed an alliance with a “friendly competitor” who has agreed to continue filling custom neckwear orders. Beginning March 1, new order inquiries and reorder customers should contact Crockett at blc@buffalobay.com for referral and distributor continuity.
- Buffalo Bay has been a supplier of custom ties, scarves and bowties since 1987, entering promo in 1994.

“The industry has been wonderful to us, and we want to sincerely thank our distributor partners for the years of friendship, support and unwavering loyalty…it has been a blessing in so many ways,” Crockett says. “I also want to thank our many employees and their families over the years for allowing us to achieve the level of excellence each and every day.”
- Buffalo Bay will continue as a corporate entity in other industries outside of promo.
