Brikl Launches On-Demand Personalization For Distributor ProgramsBrikl (PPAI 803362), an on-demand commerce platform for distributors of custom apparel and decorated products, has announced the general availability of On-Demand Personalization, a new feature that lets distributors offer end-shopper personalization – names, numbers, custom text and logo selection – across any product in their on-demand stores, with real-time 3D preview at checkout and direct routing to the decorator’s production file.
“Consumer personalization tools were designed for one-off orders,” says Joe Edmunds, director of business development at Brikl. “Distributor programs are a fundamentally different shape. A regional youth sports association with 14 teams. A corporate uniform program with 3,000 employees across 40 departments. A school district running spirit shops for a dozen activity groups. None of the consumer tooling was built for that scale or that workflow. We built On-Demand Personalization for the way distributors actually work.”
The feature has been in production with a small group of Brikl distributors over the past several weeks, supporting team stores, corporate apparel programs, school spirit shops and fundraising campaigns.
- The feature works with Brikl’s 12 supported decoration methods, including DTG, DTF, sublimation, embroidery, UV printing and laser etching.
- Personalization is also compatible with Printful’s Unlimited Color Embroidery workflow.
The standout capability in the launch is Roster, a bulk-input tool that turns a personalization template into a structured spreadsheet. Distributors paste a range of cells from Excel or Google Sheets directly into the personalization template – each column maps to a design layer (Name, Number, Position) and each row maps to a shopper. On the storefront, each shopper picks their row from a dropdown.
On-Demand Personalization uses a layered composition canvas rather than fixed templates. Distributors can stack any number of text and logo layers on a product, with independent controls for font, size, color, position, rotation and curve. Layers can be locked to the brand or made shopper-editable.
