Richard Towsley, founder of Towsleys (PPAI 109141, Gold), made his first order in 1954. Today, his grandsons, Bill and John Niedermeyer and partner Hans Schuette run the Manitowoc, Wisconsin, business.
Returning to the PPAI 100 list again this year, the company credits its recent success to a trio of improvements made last year. It added NetSuite as its ERP, an integrated webstore platform and a new partnership with DCX for sales support and back office functions.
Beyond its ongoing commitment to comply with all laws, regulations and ethical standards necessary for responsible business practices, Towsleys also made a significant investment in 2025 to strengthen its long-term sustainability.
