How did your company get its start?
Seattle Sports has been a trusted manufacturer since 1983. Pioneering the process of radio-frequency seam welding, Seattle Sports was able to create a line of dry bags, duffels and totes that withstand the test of time thanks to heavy-duty materials and high-quality craftsmanship. With strong values to maintain a standard of high-quality gear and a mission to make a line of gear that is affordable to everyone, Seattle Sports has expanded its product line to include not only dry bags but personal electronics cases, bike panniers and lights, innovative camping gear and more. Today, Seattle Sports carries the torch of innovation, drawing inspiration from its legacy of domestic manufacturing.
What led your company to enter the promotional products market?
We saw a need in the promotional products market for premium quality gear. A need for products that really stand out and make customers go, “Wow!” We have a product offering that is unique and innovative, providing customers with something different and better to offer their clients or customers.
Our domestic manufacturing allows for low minimums and fast turnaround times. This enables us to work with companies large and small on all sorts of promotional projects.
What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry?
We love having the opportunity to provide customers with products that stand out. Promotional items can be underwhelming at times. Being able to offer a variety of high-quality, innovative products that create that, “wow!” factor really makes our day.
Why did you join PPAI?
We had been attending The PPAI Expo for a couple years. Becoming a member just made sense. We’re now able to take advantage of discounts and opportunities that were otherwise unavailable to us.
