Liqui-Mark Corp. (PPAI 259001, S3) was featured on FOX News’ “Fox & Friends” show on Sunday morning during a segment on companies who manufacture school supplies in the United States.

The Hauppauge, New York-based supplier showcased a variety of writing instruments and other products, such as pens, highlighters and markers. Josh Goodelman, president and CEO of the second-generation company, explained that the firm not only makes ink and performs injection molding, but also assembles, prints, packages and ships all from Long Island, New York.

“We source product for packaging from other USA manufacturers who are local to reduce our carbon footprint and support sustainability,” Goodelman said. “We have 55 incredible teammates in our manufacturing facility where we make these products every single day. It’s something I’m really proud of.”

Liqui-Mark was founded in 1974 in Brooklyn, New York by Stuart Goodelman, who built the business by manufacturing private label markers and pens to some of the country’s largest mass marketers.

  • By 1985, he expanded the business to include his own line of Liqui-Mark brand products.
  • In 1994, the company relocated to Long Island, where he assembled a team of marketing, research and development and sales personnel that helped grow the product line.

Goodelman’s son Josh joined the company as vice president in 2001, and Liqui-Mark entered the promotional products industry in 2005. In 2018, Goodelman passed away, and Josh took over the role of president of the firm.
