Goldstar (PPAI 114031, Platinum), PPAI 100’s No. 16 supplier, has announced a new strategic initiative designed to “drastically enhance customer experience and operational speed.”
In June, the San Diego-based company will simultaneously debut a new website platform and officially integrate its new East Coast fulfillment center in Tennessee into its North American operations.
- Earlier this month, Goldstar announced an update to its pricing model.
“These updates are about more than just technology and logistics,” says Heather Smartt, global head of Goldstar. “They’re a commitment to our Simplicity brand promise. By removing friction in the ordering process and closing the physical distance between our products and our customers, we’re enabling our partners to move faster and with greater confidence.”

Digital Transformation
The new website platform combines the familiar Goldstar look with tools to make ordering faster and more intuitive. These tools include:
- An upgraded predictive search engine
- A streamlined interface designed to move from quote to completion in fewer clicks
- Continued access to Goldstar’s suite of free marketing tools and digital assets
Additionally, the company is transitioning to a consolidated product ID system (LUM instead of LUM-C) to align with industry standards. “This makes searching easier and ensures smoother data syncing for partners,” the firm says.

And for the first time, distributors will be able to see all orders whether placed online or via a representative in one unified view with real-time tracking.
East Coast Fulfillment
To complement its digital evolution, Goldstar is expanding its physical footprint with a new facility in Tennessee. This move represents a significant investment in North American logistics, offering benefits such as strategic proximity to East Coast markets, which will substantially lower shipping durations.
- The Tennessee facility mirrors its Mexico operations, allowing for order routing to the fastest location based on product availability and decoration requirements.
The Tennessee facility will also serve as the primary home for Goldstar’s proprietary SimpliColor decoration technology, supporting its line of made-in-USA writing instruments.
