Sendoso has announced the acquisition of Florida-based distributor Merch.co (PPAI 801093, Standard-Base). Sendoso is a business services provider that focuses on personalized gifting, helping revenue teams send shipments to locations efficiently.

  • The San Francisco-based company previously built a fulfillment center dedicated entirely to gifting and direct mail.
  • The acquisition of Merch.co allows Sendoso to combine its distribution capabilities with a bevy of unlocked production assets.

One Platform From Concept To Recipient

According to Patricia DuChene, Sendoso’s chief revenue officer, Merch.co will now represent the other side of a coin for Sendoso, allowing it to be a full-service gifting specialist.

“Sendoso has always been the platform that helps revenue teams send the right thing, to the right person, at the right time,” DuChene says. “What we have always needed was the upstream piece: a way to own production, not just warehousing and shipping.”

  • The production side will be handled by Merch.co (print-on-demand, no minimums, global facilities).
  • Sendoso takes on distribution: “a fulfillment center built specifically for gifting, curated packaging, handwritten notes, targeted sending.”

As far as current Merch.co customers are concerned, nothing changes beyond potential extended capabilities. They continue to work with the same team. The two sides are expected to strengthen each other’s roles in the marketplace.
