The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) has launched a campaign for the country’s 2017 Promotional Products Week (PPW), running October 2-6 and spotlighting promotional products’ ability to make people feel valued.
A recent study conducted by BPMA found that almost 80 percent of people receiving a promotional product feel “appreciated.” In its campaign for PPW, BPMA is asking its members, promotional buyers and anybody who wants to support PPW to reflect this trend by saying “Thank You” and sharing pictures of their promotional products on social media with the hashtag #ThankYouPPW.
PPW, now in its fourth year, is designed to raise the profile and use of branded promotional products. This year, it is also raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society through a range of activities by BPMA members.
“I am delighted to be launching our campaign again, to remind buyers of how important promotional products are in the marketing mix,” says Gordon Glenister, director general of BPMA. “I am also very pleased to be supporting the fight against Alzheimer’s, a dreadful condition for millions of people.”
BPMA members are also hosting their own campaigns and events in conjunction with PPW and the “Thank You” campaign. In addition, on October 4 the BPMA held “The Night of Luxury Brands” at the Conrad Hotel in London. It sought to inspire buyers with a range of high-end merchandise options to motivate and reward in style.
