Supplier AAA Innovations (PPAI 110972) and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) have issued a recall on a promotional cooler/grill due to a fire hazard.
The recall affects about 275 units distributed between June and September 2018. The product in question has a wooden cabinet and comes with separate cooler and grill compartments. They are used as display enhancers in retail, liquor, convenience and other stores, and may have been received by consumers as promotional giveaways and at charity auctions. The cooler/grill units measure approximately 35 inches high by 44 inches wide and 16 inches deep, and have the words “Tito’s Handmade Vodka” inscribed on the front.
The firm has received two reports of the wood surrounding the grill catching fire. No injuries have been reported. Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled cooler/grills and contact AAA Innovations to receive a $125 incentive or a full refund.
