On Monday, nearly 110 golfers took to the greens at the Bali Hai Golf Club for the Glen Holt Scholarship Golf Tournament, supporting the Promotional Products Education Fund (PPEF).

The tournament honors the late Glen Holt, MAS, a former PPAI board member and Hall of Fame inductee who passed away in 2010, and supports his lasting legacy with a PPEF scholarship named in his honor.

Comprised of 27 teams, participants competed for bragging rights and prizes. The first-place team included Emmanuel Bruno and Dave Saracino of BIC Graphic, Dick Nelson of Marco and Jim Ruelle of HALO Branded Solutions. They won with a score of 59, determined in a tiebreaker.

Other notables from the day included Kristen Koch of Geiger and Brian Towne of Sunrise Identity, who set the longest drives for women and men, respectively, and Closest to the Pin winners Ryan Scott of Sweda, Dan Henderson and Craig Callaway of eCompanystore, Fred Parker of BrandAlliance and Debbie Underwood of Geiger. Craig Callaway actually shot a hole-in-one for his Closest to the Pin shot on hole No. 11—unfortunately not the $10,000 prize for a Hole-in-One. It was Callaway’s first ace and the first one scored in the four years of hosting the PPEF Glen Holt Scholarship Golf Invitational.
