PPAI technology partner SAGE has announced that it has officially surpassed 2 million products in its database for the first time in the company’s history. The business service provider says that amassing that number of products is more about reaching a milestone and more having the capabilities to evolve with the industry and be a resource for distributors who need a tool to find what they are looking for.

Growth Aligning With A Healthy Industry

The branded merch industry has only become more diverse in its offerings. It’s not just that there are more companies offering different versions of popular products. The mere idea of what can be considered a promotional product or a fall under the umbrella of branded merchandise has expanded in recent years. The interests and demand of clients or end users combined with the creativity of suppliers has made for a flood of new products joining the reliable core traditional staples.

The PPAI Expo 2026 alone had hundreds of thousands of products displayed on its trade floor (and attendees utilized the SAGE app to locate specific products and where their booths were located).

That growth has been reflected in SAGE’s database.

  • Now, 88% of SAGE’s 2 million products are supplier-verified.


Over that time, the company says that it has invested in supplier integrations, AI-powered search tools, product management systems and enhanced data quality initiatives. In January, it launched a new feature that boosted customization.
