If this month’s PPB looks a little different to you—the PPB team thanks you for noticing. With the September issue, PPAI’s monthly magazine introduces a new logo, a new look and a new design team—North Carolina-based SPARK Publications—that is responsible for the refreshing new graphics, typefaces and color palette.
“PPB celebrated its 40th year last month so it was a great time to reexamine how we were presenting our content to readers,” says Editor Tina Berres Filipski. “Our goal was to keep the familiar flavor of PPB but amp it up with a clean and energetic vibe through more powerful use of photos, color and creative entry points into the stories.” The PPB team, consisting of Filipski, news editor James Khattak and associate editors Jen Alexander and Julie Richie, also worked with the PPAI Editorial Advisory Committee in vetting the new logo and considering what changes were needed throughout the publication.
PPB is mailed monthly to approximately 15,000 individuals at all supplier, distributor and business services member companies, and an email with links to the online and flipbook versions is sent to more than 37,000 subscribers and individuals at PPAI member companies. Add your name to the email list with links to the online and flipbook by emailing ppb@ppai.org. To subscribe to PPB in print, click here.
