PPB magazine won a 2018 Platinum MarCom Award for creative excellence in the annual competition administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The July 2018 edition was the submitted entry.

The MarCom competition is one of the largest and most-respected creative competitions worldwide, attracting about 6,000 international print and digital entries annually. Entries are judged in 323 categories organized within print, strategic communications, digital media and audio/video, and winners are selected based on quality of the entry, creativity and resourcefulness.

The award is the fifth honor directed to PPB this year; in October the magazine won two FOLIO awards—one for design, one for writing—plus a FOLIO honorable mention for design of its July 2017 cover story. Earlier this year, it won an Award of Distinction in the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) 2018 Communicator Awards.

PPB, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016, is produced by PPAI and designed by SPARK Publications.
