When First National Bank of Omaha launched its “Girls Support Girls” Visa debit card, the bank wanted a supporting campaign to increase brand awareness via Instagram, as well as shine a light on the #GirlsSupportGirls movement and International Day of the Girl. The bank partnered with American Solutions for Business (PPAI 101656, D12) to send a pair of carefully curated gift boxes to 48 key influencers, one for them to keep and the other to give away. Each box included a tie-dye trucker hat, socks, T-shirt, sunglasses, notebook, reusable water bottle and other brightly colored items bearing the bank’s and Girls Support Girls logos.
The influencers loved the promo items and message of female empowerment, and their posts helped First National Bank of Omaha grow its following by 163 throughout the campaign period. The average post related to the campaign received an engagement rate nearly three times as large as the average influencer post, and the posts garnered nearly 22,000 impressions total.
