Jack Nadel International (PPAI 107145) has expanded into two new markets: Wilmington, North Carolina, and Calgary, Alberta, in Canada. With this announcement, the Los Angeles, California, distributor looks to grow in the Mid-Atlantic region and expand its global footprint.

“We want to develop into an even larger company and we want to do it intelligently,” says CEO Craig Nadel. “We plan to do this in two ways. First, by supporting our employees who explore new markets. And secondly, by accommodating our internal growth through space expansion.”

The company enters the Wilmington market with the acquisition of distributor Planet Logo (PPAI 536441). Planet Logo President Frank Thompson says, “We are ecstatic about the acquisition for a range of reasons. Of course, their 65 years of experience, cutting edge clientele, global distribution and a custom manufacturing division are game changing for our clients. On a personal level, I knew it was a good fit when I experienced the company culture of JNI and the authenticity of its people. When I found out they were founded in the same year as Corvette, it was a done deal.”

As for the Calgary office, branding consultant Lauren Bridges will lead new business development there to continue the company’s global expansion and reach more international clients. Bridges has been with Jack Nadel International for five years, starting in the sourcing and marketing department with CSO Debbie Abergel. Since then, she has become a multimillion-dollar producer.

“Over the years, our growth strategy has primarily been organic as is the case with the Calgary location,” says Senior VP, New Business Development Athans Zafiropoulos. “However, when we recognize companies in strategic markets or regions that have a similar creative and strategic solution-based go-to-market strategy as Planet Logo, we’re very interested.”
