David Oslansky, founder and president of distributor Darko Promotional Products, Inc. (PPAI 104473, D4) in Henderson, Nevada, passed away on October 30. He was 84.
Oslansky founded Darko Advertising Company in New York in 1970, and in the 1980s was the lead salesperson for Pentel pens. He changed the name to Darko Promotional Products when he relocated the company to Nevada in 1996.
A statement from the family-operated company noted, “When beginning in this industry, Roberta and David Oslansky started with very little money. They became so successful through their hard work and dedication. David loved the industry and he thrived in it. We will carry on his legacy of his hard work and dedication to our clients and future clients.”
The family adds, “He was the most amazing, caring and loving man. He will be missed greatly. May you rest in peace, Dad. We love you and are very proud of all your accomplishments.”
A memorial service for Oslansky was held on November 10 at King David Memorial Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
