Supplier Gildan Activewear (PPAI 250187, S13), headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, is participating in Fashion Revolution’s #WhoMadeMyClothes campaign, a global transparency movement to recognize the workers who make apparel.
The Cause:Fashion Revolution is a UK-based organization that, by centering its campaign around people, aims to make consumers aware of the behind-the-scenes activity of the clothing industry and increase their understanding of the importance of transparency in complex supply chains.
Gildan’s Participation:On April 18, Gildan began publishing small features of its factory employees from its facilities in Honduras, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Bangladesh, and the United States on its social media channels.
