The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards have come and gone, celebrating the best of television, including Deborah Vance, Matthew Rhys and Frank Vincent’s “A Guy’s Guide To Being A Man’s Man.”

The presenters, performers and nominees were rewarded for their effort by having access to The Giving Suite, curated by Los Angeles-based marketing company Distinctive Assets, which has dominated the award show swag scene for a quarter century. 

An exclusive backstage experience stocked with branded merchandise, The Giving Suite “channels the glitz of Hollywood” into support for the Television Academy Foundation’s education programs, with over a million dollars raised to date, according to Distinctive Assets.

Here are some of the standout promotional items from The Giving Suite:

  • The RingCon Gen 3, a titanium smart ring that tracks health and wellness statistics, such as sleep and heart rate
  • The viral spill-proof HydroJug Traveler with a custom etching for the Emmy Awards

Lash Fary, founder of Distinctive Assets, told USA Today that the Giving Suite only has room for 10 activations, which vendors pay to rent.

“The base level activation to be in the Emmys’ Giving Suite is $25,000, and then we have a couple of premium spots for a slightly larger space and a slightly bigger sign, that’s $45,000,” Fary said. “To be included in the gift bag, it’s $3,000.”


Along with The Giving Suite, which was first come, first served, Emmys performers and nominees received gift bags with an estimated value of nearly $28,000 per bag, Fary said.

Inside these bags are luxury items like a 24k gold plated card from Ballet to store cryptocurrency offline and Motorola Moto Buds 2 Plus featuring Swarovski crystals. However, there are also many gifts that can be found at a local grocery store.
