Supplier AAkron Rule (PPAI 111082) is looking to upgrade its facility in Akron, New York, with the addition of more than 25,000 square feet for increased warehouse and production space.
AAkron Rule’s expansion plans include a 9,000-square-foot addition that would enlarge its warehouse space to 20,500 square feet, and moving its molding operations into another, 16,000-square-foot expansion of its facility. A print shop area would move into the molding line’s old location.
In the tax incentive application AAkron Rule submitted to the Erie County Industrial Development Agency, it notes, “We have been taking on some rather large-quantity orders, and our limited space and production capabilities have made it very difficult to satisfy all customers within a specified time frame.”
The supplier plans on starting work on the $2.67 million project on April 1, with completion expected by October.
