A Brand Company, Inc. (PPAI 188929) announced Monday that Executive Chairman Marc Roy is no longer with the Charlotte, North Carolina, distributor and that he intends to pursue other professional and personal interests. The move was effective January 30. An immediate replacement for Roy has not been named, though the company plans to internally support the role in the interim.
“A Brand Company has precautionary stopgap measures in place to address a leadership vacancy,” says Fred Parker, CEO of A Brand Company. “From our standpoint, it will continue to be business as usual here, as we move to find a new executive chairperson.”
As part of the transition, Parker will assume Roy’s day-to-day sales leadership role, and Outside Director Ken Bramlett has been named as temporary lead director of the board of directors.
Roy began serving as executive chairman at A Brand Company in July 2015, following the completion of the merger with BrandAlliance, Inc.
