commonsku Presents ‘15 Years Ahead’ Free Virtual Event

commonsku (PPAI 552077) has announced “commonsku Presents: 15 Years Ahead,” a free virtual event airing August 19 from 2-4 p.m. ET.

The event marks commonsku’s 15th anniversary and anchors its 15 Years Ahead celebration. The broadcast features two panel discussions on where the industry goes next, recorded in Toronto before a live audience of distributors and industry guests.

In “The Next Era of the Promo Industry,” host Bobby Lehew, chief AI officer at commonsku, sits down with Drew Holmgreen, president and CEO of PPAI; Denise Taschereau, CEO and co-founder of Fairware; Jonathan Isaacson, executive chair of Gemline; and Catherine Graham, CEO and co-founder of commonsku. The conversation digs into a global supply chain in motion, the real impact of AI and automation, and a generation of buyers embracing physical goods as a marketing medium.

In “The Next Era of Marketing”, host Kara Parkinson, senior vice president of marketing at commonsku, is joined by Chris Staresinic, partner at The Brand Entity Group; David Siekanowicz, director of creative strategy at 7 Communications; Maria Acquarola, outside sales director at commonsku; and Mikas Agarwal, chief digital officer at Akran Marketing. The panel brings non-industry marketers together with a supplier and a distributor to unpack how marketers actually think about merch and its role in their mix, and what distributors can do to pitch it more effectively and sell more.

Facilisgroup Announces Integration With S&S’s FAST PLATFORM

Facilisgroup (PPAI 493664) has announced a new integration between Syncore, its 360° Promo Platform, and FAST PLATFORM, a technology platform that connects distributors to a nationwide network of print-on-demand production partners.

The FAST PLATFORM is owned by S&S and is part of its S&S Business Solutions. FAST PLATFORM is also connected to several of Facilisgroup’s top preferred suppliers, including Cutter & Buck, Edwards Garment and Charles River.

Announced live at Facilisgroup’s recent Supplier Showcase event in Chicago, the integration will give distributors a way to fulfill low-minimum and single-unit orders fast without adding operational overhead.

“Clients don’t even ask if you can do a small, fast order anymore – they just expect it,” says Matthew Cromar, chief product officer at Facilisgroup. “This integration will let distributors say ‘yes’ on the spot, without reinventing their fulfillment processes.”

Facilisgroup and FAST PLATFORM will start a pilot program in Q4 of this year, with an anticipated general launch date in 2027.
