Gill Studios (PPAI 114157, Platinum), PPAI 100’s No. 26 supplier, has announced that Jeff Furminger has been named he company’s next president and CEO.
- Former CEO Jamie Fain has officially retired after a 25-year career with the Kansas-based supplier.
- Furminger most recently served in the role of executive vice president of operations.

A Homegrown Leader
Furminger has truly come up the ranks of Gill Studios, having been with the company since 1991, when he joined the company to work in research and development. Having been around for nearly a century, the supplier chose to prioritize continuity by promoting from within and awarding the position to someone who has seen the company from a number of different positions.
- After five years in research and development, Furminger worked for 14 years in production management.
- He also held the titles of certified lean facilitator and director of plant operations before becoming executive vice president of operations since 2017.
