How did your company get its start?

Sunday Swagger was founded with a simple idea: Golf apparel didn’t have to be boring. We saw an opportunity to bring more personality, color and fun to the course through bold prints and performance-driven apparel. What started as a golf-focused brand has continued to grow into new categories, customers and markets while staying true to that original idea of helping people stand out and have a little more fun with what they wear.

What led your company to enter the branded merch market?

As the brand grew, we started receiving more requests from companies, golf tournaments and organizations that wanted to customize Sunday Swagger products with their own logos. We realized there was a real demand for branded apparel that people were actually excited to wear – not just another traditional logo polo. With our bold designs, performance fabrics and in-house embroidery capabilities, branded merchandise became a very natural extension of our business.

What’s your favorite thing about being in the branded merch industry?

Seeing how creative customers can get with our products. We work with such a wide range of companies, events and organizations, and every project is a little different. It’s especially rewarding when a customer wants something outside of the typical corporate apparel box, and we can help create something that feels unique to their brand and that their employees, customers or event guests genuinely want to wear.

Why did you join PPAI?

We joined PPAI because we see branded merchandise as a major growth opportunity for Sunday Swagger. We want to continue learning more about the industry, building relationships with distributors and partners, and introducing Sunday Swagger to more companies looking for something different in the apparel space. PPAI gives us the opportunity to become more connected to the industry while continuing to grow this side of our business.
