S&S Activewear (PPAI 256121, Platinum), PPAI 100’s No. 5 supplier, has announced the signing of exclusive agreements with vineyard vines and Marmot, bolstering the company’s apparel offerings with well-known retail brands. S&S says that the products will be available across its entire customer base.
“S&S’s expanded partnership with vineyard vines and Marmot aims to keep our customers competitive,” says Toby Whitmoyer, chief commercial officer at S&S Activewear. “By aligning with brands like vineyard vines and Marmot, we’re not just expanding our line-up. We’re helping our customers grow, differentiate and win in their markets.

“This is what we mean when we talk about elevating the options we bring to the table.”
- Late last year, S&S Activewear acquired alphabroder, PPAI 100’s No. 2 supplier at the time, in what was a massive development within the promo industry.
‘Every Day Should Feel This Good‘
The two retail brands provide S&S with known entities and built-in customer loyalty. Existing in two different lanes, the brands give the supplier another leg up in the corporate gifting sector.
- Marmot operates largely in performance and outdoor apparel that is meant to be durable and comfortable in all sorts of weather elements.
- vineyard vines, on the other hand, leans more toward vacation or relaxation apparel.
According to JoAnn Slattery, senior vice president of wholesale and licensed stores, the partnership came down to working with a supplier that wanted the same things for end users.
“At vineyard vines, we’re all about helping people live the ‘Every day should feel this good’ lifestyle,” says Slattery. “S&S Activewear understands the importance of delivering quality and consistency, values that align closely with our own.
