Why do you believe you were nominated for PPAI Rising Stars?
I have a wonderful team who like to raise each other up at every opportunity! Alongside this team, I have built a purpose-driven company that blends creativity, inclusion and impact in the promotional products space. I’ve worked to challenge norms and lead with values, and I think that resonated with others in the industry.
In what ways do you see opportunities for the industry to grow globally?
I see huge potential for global growth through more sustainable sourcing, inclusive branding and digital platforms that connect suppliers and buyers across borders. The industry can expand its reach by embracing cultural diversity and tailoring products to regional markets while maintaining ethical standards. The companies that will grow will be the ones who put people and planet first.
How does your work make you better?
My work constantly challenges me to grow as a leader, communicator and problem-solver. It pushes me to stay curious, adapt quickly and lead with empathy – all of which make me better every day. As a father to a young daughter and a second child on the way, I am reminded daily that impact starts with intention – something I try to remember at work and at home.
What is your best leadership trait?
My best leadership trait is staying mission-driven while empowering others to lead. I focus on creating space for people to grow, contribute meaningfully and feel connected to a larger purpose. I also recognize that leadership is something you do, it’s not a title. It’s a verb, not a noun.
What brings out the best in you?
What brings out the best in me is being surrounded by people who are driven by impact and challenge me to grow. Whether it’s my team, my family or our community, their energy and purpose push me to lead with clarity and heart. I know time is moving quickly, so I simply try each day to be better than I was yesterday.
