Following the successful PPAI Expo in January, the Association continues its return to in-person events with this month’s Women’s Leadership Conference. Running June 26-28, WLC is the industry’s premier event for professional women who share a common vision to achieve success. The three-day event features live education from a range of experts and numerous opportunities to network and connect.
WLC was established to create an engaging, collaborative community that enables diverse women in the promotional products industry to be authentic, learn together and from each other, and build relationships that’ll grow throughout the year. This month’s conference will be no exception.
After beginning with a Sunday of community service in WLC’s host city, Charlotte, North Carolina, a welcome reception for first-time attendees, and an opening dinner and celebration of the 2022 Woman of Achievement recipient, WLC’s education schedule kicks off Monday morning.
The conference has drawn speakers from both within the promotional products industry and outside it who will share their insights, advice and best practices on a range of subjects. General sessions at this year’s event will examine harnessing innovation to turn ideas into results, embracing digital transformation in your business, a new approach to building high performance teams, accelerating your professional impact and influence, and more. WLC will also feature a series of roundtable discussions, breakout sessions and PromoSnacks—quick fixes dished up by some of the promotional products industry’s leading influencers.
PPAI has invited several accomplished speakers to join this year’s WLC.:
- Sara Frasca brings her background in senior leadership roles in corporate America and in start-ups to global business coaching firm Point Northeast, where she serves as chief operating officer.
- JJ Geronimo is a speaker and columnist, and president of Tech Savvy Women, a professional group bringing together women in tech and coaching executives on recruiting a diverse workforce.
- Former NASA engineer Maureen Zappala is a speaker, author and founder of High Altitude Strategies. She works with STEM organizations and other groups to understand the imposter syndrome and overcome it.
