The Best Expo Yet

The PPAI Expo 2017, the promotional products industry’s largest and longest-running trade show, drew its highest attendance in nine years. Since the show wrapped on January 12, PPAI has received outstanding reports from those involved. A selection is included here.

Thanks for a very good Expo. Suntex has exhibited since the early Dallas days, and in my opinion it was the best ever. I never base my view of a show on scans, but on the depth of conversations about our products, and of course seeing our friends and customers. The quality of distributors and the knowledge level about our industry was far superior this year to any in the past. Thanks to PPAI for launching 2017 in a very positive direction.

Stopping The Order Error Madness

At The PPAI Expo 2017, the Association’s Distributors Committee presented a panel discussion focused on delivering dozens of best practices to ensure clean, accurate and—best of all—stress-free orders.

I read every single line of our P.O. and communicate on both sides. Most suppliers are pretty awesome in catching any errors on our side, but the gap in communication for me seems to come from missed phone calls. It would be really nice to be able to communicate with the supplier more by text if the order has a firm in-hands date and needs immediate answers.

Another Win For PCT

Promotional Consultant Today (PCT) sales tips and expert advice, delivered daily to distributor’s inboxes, continues to find fans and draw praise.

Thank you for the inspiration and motivation I have received through the daily PCT emails. The timing was right on point and encouraged me every day to follow my heart of taking that step and opening my own distributorship.

I had a great year of selling and developing a book of business (from scratch) to almost $1 million in sales.
