commonsku (PPAI 552077) recently brought together 70 team members for its annual June HQ gathering at Toronto’s Novotel Centre.

The two-day event transformed the venue into a hub of AI innovation and cross-functional collaboration, aiming to accelerate the Canadian company’s growth.
commonsku CEO Catherine Graham kicked off the gathering with a year-to-date review and look-ahead session.
- The team celebrated significant achievements, including explosive growth in client count, revenue exceeding 2024 numbers, successful event experiences and a 147% increase in Shops growth.
- Discussions focused on key initiatives, such as the launch of Enterprise, skucamp Scottsdale, team growth and AI transformation.
- The results of commonsku’s twice-annual employee engagement survey were also shared, with the company achieving a 100% participation rate.
A major highlight of the gathering was a dedicated AI workshop and hackathon. Led by Dileshni Jayasinghe, commonsku’s new vice president of technology, the workshop’s goal was to provide hands-on AI experience, enabling team members to experiment with ways to make their work easier, faster and more enjoyable.
Teams were formed to address specific challenges during the hackathon, including automating prospecting, organizing customer feedback, streamlining developer onboarding, creating a feature recommendation system, normalizing product ID formats and optimizing time management.
