Distributors and printers lose hours and sales chasing approvals for decorated apparel and fixing costly production errors.

SEDDI Decorator offers a new standard for accuracy and speed in apparel visualization. Purpose-built for industry professionals, this cloud-based platform transforms how teams move from mockup to production, cutting timelines from days to minutes.

“The biggest industry change is an Amazon Prime mentality, especially with print-on-demand,” says SEDDI CEO Alan Murray. “Customers expect products in 48 hours. By creating an accurate mockup and auto-generating a production tech pack, we eliminate friction, increase precision and accelerate sales.”

What makes Decorator different is a true-to-style 3D mockup becomes the source of truth for the entire process, from proof to production.

Built on Scientific Precision

Decorator’s accuracy is powered by seven years of research and development in digital textile and garment simulation. SEDDI’s advanced technology models garments down to the seam and stitch in an easy-to-use format.

“You can’t communicate construction with flat imagery, and physical samples don’t scale,” Murray says. “Our 3D models offer a new option, assuring clients that what they see on screen matches what they’ll receive.”

This detail ensures graphics and printing techniques appear as they would on real fabrics, with drape, texture and color. “A logo on an XS vs. a 4XL is wildly different,” Murray says. “Decorator shows you how it’ll look across sizes.”

Collaborating With Apparel Brands

SEDDI partners with leading suppliers to build 3D replicas of the industry’s most trusted styles, including BELLA+CANVAS, Gildan, AS Colour, Lane Seven, Marine Layer and Stanley/Stella. “We add dozens of new styles weekly, so you’ll find what you need,” Murray says.

Styles are modeled from brands’ specifications, ensuring construction and color accuracy. “We use their bill of materials and color standards,” Murray says. “The brands review our builds so they’re involved in the 3D reproduction.”

The result: What customers see in their proofs is what gets produced, eliminating mismatches and production errors.

When a brand isn’t yet in Decorator, SEDDI’s TrueMatch process creates a realistic 3D stand-in. “We can produce a comparable garment, scale it across sizes and colorways, and give teams a representational visual,” Murray says.

Setting a New Standard

Beyond visualization, Decorator is creating a digital standard for tech packs and printing specifications.

“We’re building a universal language so everyone, from brands to decorators, sees the same thing,” Murray says. “If you design your product in Decorator, it can be produced as shown, with no surprises. Customers want that assurance: That’s my logo, my brand standard, and it looks right.”

The platform bridges designers, sales and decorators for seamless handoffs from concept to product. Users can collaborate on a shared mockup and add comments easily.

AI for Smarter Sales

The SEDDI team believes generative AI’s real value is supporting sales with realistic lifestyle imagery. Decorator’s upcoming AI feature helps clients envision the final product with on-model lifestyle visuals.

Unlike tools that create fully generated images, Decorator starts with accurate 3D apparel, then layers in generative AI for the model and environment. The result: instant, lifelike, sales-ready lifestyle visuals.

Driving Sales and Reorders

Decorator empowers teams to sell, communicate and produce effectively and efficiently. “We’re a visual reference point for the order cycle,” Murray says. “The end-customer knows what they see is what they’ll get, and the printer can produce exactly that. Then, you’ll get reorders.”

SEDDI is ushering in a new era where every mockup, proof and product aligns.
