In Memoriam: David Fleisher
David Fleisher, president of Morton Grove, Illinois-based distributor Done Deal Promotions (UPIC: DONE8754), passed away on August 13. He was 49.
Fleisher is survived by his wife, Melissa; their children, Emma, Charles, Lillian and Alexandra; his parents, Richard and Carol Fleischer; sisters Stacy Friedland, and her husband Joel, and Marcy, and her husband Jeffrey Katz; and brother Jonathan, and his wife Lisa.
Services were held at North Shore Congregation Israel. Donations in Fleisher’s memory may be made to the University of Chicago Gastrointestinal Research Foundation.
In Memoriam: Grace Zasonski
Grazryna “Grace” Zasonski, an employee of Concord, Ontario, distributor Boomerang Marketing (UPIC: 3262666), passed away on August 11 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. She was 55.
A statement from Boomerang Marketing on Zasonski’s passing says, “She truly cared about her family at Boomerang as much as she cared for her own family at home. She loved knowing that she was the ‘mother hen’ of this place and our company growth would not have been possible without her in our lives. We are thankful we had the opportunity to spend time with her over the past nine years and our thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time.”
Zasonski is survived by her mother, Stella Kociolek; brothers Andrew Zasonski, and his wife Terry Bronnimann), and Vince Zasonski, and his wife Cathy; sister Christina Zasonski, and her husband Gary Styles; as well as a number of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Services for Zasonski were held at Transfiguration Of Our Lord Church in Etobicoke, Ontario, on August 20. Donations in her memory can be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.
