HALO Branded Solutions (PPAI 106462, D15) recognized the sales achievements of the Sterling, Illinois-headquartered distributor’s account executives in a “Virtual Awards Gala” on January 27 that was attended by more than 700 of the company’s sales and support team members.
The event, “A Brand New Year, ” provided key company updates from HALO CEO Marc Simon, including HALO’s company sales in 2020 and details on key investments the company made in technology and brand enhancement the past year. Jim Stutz, executive vice president of sales and business development, recognized members of HALO’s sales achievement clubs, including awards for sales growth and overall profitability. HALO also surveyed its staff and account executives prior to the event for nominations for “2020 Zoom Awards” to create light-hearted awards in categories that reflected the Zoom phenomena of 2020 as people worked from home.
“We typically hold our Gala in conjunction with the PPAI Expo in Las Vegas,” says Stutz. “The virtual format allowed us to have hundreds of members of our support team attend to cheer on the accomplishments of our account executives—their account executives—which we otherwise couldn’t have done. Our team did an amazing job in the most difficult business environment this industry, and this country, has ever seen. We are honored to recognize their accomplishments, their grit and their ingenuity.”
Simon adds, “We were able to create success in 2020 because of the hard work, sacrifice and creativity of our entire team—sales, technology, staff, warehouse, production and management. The adversity provided focus and positive momentum that we are confident will continue in 2021.”
