Geiger (PPAI 105182, Platinum), PPAI 100’s No. 5 distributor, has announced the acquisition of German company SOESTMEDIA. The company was technically purchased under the Geiger GmbH umbrella, which is based out of Germany.
- Last July, Geiger acquired WER GmbH and rebranded it as Geiger GmbH.
- Prior to that acquisition, WER GmbH had acquired 12 other companies, making it a formidable presence in the European market.
- SOESTMEDIA represents its 13th acquisition and its first since taking on the Geiger GmbH name.

SOESTMEDIA’s owner, Marita Kempchen-Bock, says that she sees retirement on the horizon and that Geiger represents a confident legacy for her company.

In December, Geiger underwent a brand refresh that, in part, aimed to unify the global teams that the company has amassed.

Establishing a unified global brand identity has become a top priority, the company says, which is why both Geiger in the UK and in Germany now operate under the Geiger logo.
