Fluid Branding, a UK-based distributor, has joined the United Nations Global Compact Initiative, a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices. Fluid Branding is involved in the initiative at its global “Participant” level.
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 9,500 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries globally. The initiative is a call to companies globally to align their operations and strategies with 10 universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in its Sustainable Development Goals.
Fluid Branding has recently formed a new senior leadership team with Aaron Loveridge as operations director, John Walker as commercial director, Kyle Scott as director of strategy, Miranda Hope as financial controller, James Stoddern as technical director and Jon Birrell as marketing and sustainability director.
Miles Lovegrove, managing director, says, “We are very proud to be part of UN Global Compact, alongside our B Corp. certification; this means that we are focused on taking responsible business actions to create the sort of world that we all want. I’m confident that this commitment, and our new senior leadership team puts us in a really strong position for us to grow responsibly into the future, for 2021 and beyond.”
