Distributor DJB Specialties (UPIC: DJBSPEC) has acquired Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s GForce Promotions (UPIC: GForce) from Gray Consulting, Inc.
“We know that GForce Promotions brings a strong reputation for delivering a quality purchasing experience along with a client base that expects the highest level of service with every transaction,” says DJB Specialties President David Blank. “We are confident that we are the right company to continue that tradition and build upon the existing success of both of our organizations.”
New Britain, Pennsylvania-based DJB Specialties has been in business for more than 20 years providing in-house screen printing and embroidery services along with creative promotional items. Additionally, it is licensed through all major sportswear companies and currently outfits many local and national sporting tournaments and teams with uniforms and team spirit wear.
GForce Promotions was created eight years ago by Philadelphia meeting and event planning company Gray Consulting, Inc., to provide gifts for their clients’ meetings and incentive trips. With a focus on corporate marketing and event gifts for companies and associations of all sizes, GForce has grown its sales and customer base every year since.
“It was critical for us to find a company we were confident in that embraced the same level of innovation, creativity and service that GForce provided and was capable of a seamless transition for our clients. We found this with DJB Specialties,” says Gray Consulting President Kathy Murphy.
Blank adds, “Nothing will change in the day-to-day activities of the current GForce business unit. All existing accounts will continue to be serviced at the highest level by acting Senior Account Executive Patrick Gallagher, who is transitioning with the GForce business unit. The opportunity to gain a respected industry veteran in Patrick, along with the amazing business relationships he has cultivated over 13 years as an account executive in the promotional sales industry was something we have looked forward to for some time.”
