Ampersand Group (PPAI 260319, Standard-Plus) has announced the acquisition of Butler, Pennsylvania-based distributor Keystone Specialties (PPAI 106266, Standard-Plus). The move begins what the former is expecting to be a year of “targeted growth and expansion.”

  • Ampersand Group is an Akron, Ohio-based network (or “strategic alliance”) of more than 65 entrepreneurial business owners. Its aim is to provide technology resources and back-office support to help distributors grow.
  • Keystone Specialties has existed in the branded merch sector for nearly 40 years, specializing in recognition campaigns and event programs, specifically with fundraisers and nonprofits, among other clients.

“This acquisition represents an exciting opportunity to build on Keystone Specialties’ legacy while bringing enhanced resources and innovation to their clients,” says Todd Mellon, president and CEO of The Ampersand Group. “Its deep roots in fundraising and community engagement align perfectly with our mission to deliver impactful brand solutions that drive meaningful connections.”
