The Virginia Promotional Products Association (VAPPA) has announced that due to the uncertainty of the COVID‐19 situation and frequent directives from the office of the Governor of Virginia, the VAPPA Fall Showcase has been postponed from its original date of September 10-11 to November 10-11.
“After lengthy and thoughtful discussions, the VAPPA board of directors has concluded that we would best serve the interests of all stakeholder members and end- buyer guests, by postponing the fall showcase,” says Joy Jacobs, VAPPA president. “We are optimistic that by waiting until later in the year, the pandemic will have subsided, allowing VAPPA to create a safe and comfortable environment for attendees of the Pinnacle Awards Presentation and End of the Year Celebration, morning education and the Fall Showcase itself.”
All events will be held at the Richmond Hilton in Short Pump, Virginia. Precautionary measures will include checking temperatures of each exhibitor and attendee at the door, providing face coverings/masks for everyone, as well as personal hand sanitizers, sanitizing stations across the show floor and floor directional decals. Social distancing requirements will be followed, with displays a minimum of six feet wide and apart, one‐way aisles, and entrance- and exit-only doors clearly marked.
Questions regarding exhibiting at the VAPPA Fall Showcase should be directed to the VAPPA office. Distributor and end buyer guest registration will be available beginning August 31.
