The Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY) has announced that its Promotions East show is returning and will be held October 16–19, 2022, at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

“As the world opens back up, people are interacting with each other differently, not only in the events industry but within society as a whole,” says Rachel Levin, CAS, SAAGNY president. “As a result, in-person events are reemerging in new ways and we’re pleased to incorporate this shift into Promotions East 2022. The experience will be like no other. We have a solid committee, a dedicated board, an incredible executive director and multiple partners that are integral to putting our vision to paper.”

SAAGNY says the show will offer attendees education, networking and ideas for business growth. The regional association is also planning an experiential component to increase value for attendees.

Promotions East Committee Chair and SAAGNY Vice President Michael Reisbaum, says, “In 2022, the Promo Industry deserves an event unlike anything we’ve ever seen, and SAAGNY and the Promotions East Committee are dedicated to providing just that. A completely refurbished and updated event locale, new social and networking opportunities, innovative and creative ways to access exhibitors and attendees, and dynamic and productive education will be the hallmarks of Promotions East 2022.”

Promotions East Committee Member Charity Gibson, with Peerless Umbrella, adds, “Back to normal is boring! We’re changing things up and while it’s a little scary, it’s necessary and worthwhile. The venue, the education, the events—all world class. It’s been an honor to be on the planning committee for this event. There is no doubt that Promotions East 2022 is going to be a total game-changer.”

Another Committee Member, Meg Erber, with S & S Activewear, says, “We have been working behind the scenes to orchestrate a renovated show and a modernized experience. We are taking this show to a new, inclusive venue with engaging experiences that say, ‘We are back and we are intentional!’”

SAAGNY recently held a logo contest and asked the promotional products community to submit logos for Promotions East. The Promotions East Committee and SAAGNY Board selected the winning submission from more than 50 entries. A design rom Joyce Ponton of HALO was chosen for its attention to detail and tagline, “Educate, Connect and Explore.”
