PPAI has taken a concrete step to shape the industry’s future leaders with the introduction of the Association’s Intern Program, giving companies the tools they need to effectively manage internship programs.
The program includes education tools, such as Promotional Products 101 to bring interns up to speed on industry basics, a lineup of targeted webinars focused on the needs of interns, and an introduction to and guidance from PPAI Diversity Development and Engagement Manager Seth Barnett. Interns in the program also have a temporary SAGE Total Access user license, giving them full access to industry sourcing and management tools.
The PPAI Intern Program also gives interns the chance to win a $1,000 scholarsip and admission to SPARK, the Association’s education and networking opportunity for young professionals working inside and outside the promotional products industry. Each participant in the PPAI Intern Program is automatically entered for a chance to win, and one winner will be chosen from candidates who successfully complete all requirements of the PPAI Intern Program. The winner will be announced by August 31.
The program also offers personalized collateral for participating employers, and a comprehensive FAQ for businesses interested in participating.
