Spring came early to many parts of the U.S. this year but winter won’t let go in the Northeast where 14 inches of snow reportedly fell across the New York area overnight with up to 18 inches blanketing New England. With blizzard conditions and power failures to thousands of homes and businesses, some promotional products companies in the region are closed today. Among those who have reported closures are suppliers TK Cups-Sorg’s, Symbio Line, Bay State Specialty Company, Hub Pen Company and Prime Line.
TK Cups-Sorgs in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, recommends customers contact their reps directly or email info@tkcups-sorgs.com to check orders. Through a social media posting, Symbio Line in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, also directs customers to its website at symbio.org.
Companies in the region are accustomed to planning ahead for weather. Among them is supplier Bay State in Middleboro, Massachusetts, which says it shipped out orders ahead of the storm. Customers can check the status of their orders at baystate.com.
Hub Pen in Braintree, Massachusetts, reports it closed at noon today with one shipment pick-up at that time. It expects to reopen early on Wednesday to continue shipping orders.
Supplier Prime Line in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is also closed today but is still accepting new orders at orders@primeline.com. Customers can also call Prime’s main number and be transferred to the dedicated response team working remotely in the state. The company’s South Carolina Jetline office remains open. Prime expects to reopen tomorrow with normal business hours starting at 8:30 am EST.
Companies in the region may report any storm-related closures and delays to JamesK@ppai.org. PPB Newslink will update the list of affected companies throughout the day.
