The 2016 PPAI Product Responsibility Summit, coming up in September in Washington, D.C., welcomes Health Canada’s Carlie Watson to speak on Health Canada’s reporting requirements and cross-border recalls. The Summit brings industry professionals together for presentations from regulatory and compliance experts, representatives from safety labs and industry thought leaders, and lets them carve their own path through a series of breakout sessions throughout the three-day event, September 18-20.
Watson, Heath Canada’s regional manager, consumer product safety program, is a 10-year veteran of the program and currently leads compliance, enforcement and public activities within the Alberta, Yukon, Nunavut and Northwest Territories region.
Product responsibility guidelines are always changing and the industry must be able to quickly adapt to an evolving marketplace. The Summit provides expertise to highlight the importance of product responsibility in today’s economy and show how businesses can differentiate themselves from their competition and keep on the right side of the law.
All Summit attendees will also receive a binder containing best practices, protocols and resource materials based on the five pillars of compliance. Seating is limited and fills up quickly, so register today to secure a spot.
