Reciprocity Road, an alliance of 10 distributors across the U.S. and Canada, representing approximately $230 million in promotional products spending, has introduced its Accelerator Program, with Louisville, Tennessee-based ForestNation (PPAI 793582, S1) as its first supplier.
The Accelerator Program was created to allow Reciprocity Road to partner with new‐to‐the‐industry suppliers who have an innovative focus on sustainability. Under the program, the group will identify suppliers who offer sustainable, environmentally compassionate and socially responsible products. In addition, Reciprocity Road will take a role to ensure the success of these new suppliers through its distributor partners.
“We were drawn to ForestNation due to their compassion for the environment,” says Reciprocity Road Executive Director Perry Wehrle, MAS. “Their products are made in the USA, contain zero plastic and have a strong plantmatching reforestation program. Clients will also have the ability to track their programs carbon offset via a unique code, all the while allowing promotional products to help fix our broken climate.”
Andrew Pothecarty, founder of ForestNation, adds, “We’re seeing a major trend in giving back. Not just to help our planet but to ensure that each one of us can live better, more fulfilling lives. This includes making promotional products that are not just eco‐friendly but can also create positive effects for our planet and its inhabitants while also actively helping companies build better relationships. We are thrilled to be part of the Reciprocity Road community that cares about what we stand for. Together, we can lead the movement to restore and regenerate Mother Earth.”
Denise Taschereau, co‐founder of distributor Fairware, a Reciprocity Road member company, says, “We’re excited to add ForestNation to the Reciprocity Road supplier family. ForestNation provides a product that directly gives back to the environment—every tree planting kit is matched with a global tree planting program. It’s truly a product with purpose, and we can’t wait to share them with our clients.”
