Facilisgroup (PPAI 493664) has delivered a concrete gesture of support for professional development and the success of the promotional products industry through higher education with a pledge of $50,000 to the Promotional Products Education Foundation (PPEF) Tomorrow Fund. St. Louis-based Facilisgroup is a management consulting and technology services group for promotional products distributors.
The Tomorrow Fund was created 16 years ago as a means to ensure ongoing funding and support of PPEF scholarship programs promoting education and achievement within the promotional products industry.
“We’re pleased to be able to support educational advancement for promotional products industry colleagues and their children,” says Dan Rochette, Facilisgroup co-founder and chief visionary officer. “PPEF has proven to be a great friend by providing these opportunities to the industry.”
Funded by PPAI and donations from the promotional products industry, the scholarship program enables youth and professionals to continue their education on a collegiate level. The Association and industry patrons have a long-standing commitment of service to the promotional products industry, and this fund supports those who demonstrate the same commitment.
Martin Weber, Facilisgroup chief business development officer, adds, “The PPEF scholarship program is a fantastic opportunity for us to give back to an industry that has always supported us. We couldn’t be more excited to be able to contribute to the educational needs of worthy individuals.”
In 2016, PPEF awarded $150,000 in academic scholarships, and since its inception in 1989 it has awarded more than $1.56 million in financial assistance to 926 recipients. The program will award $175,000 in scholarships for the 2017-2018 school year.
