To celebrate the release of its latest flavor, Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream, the soft drink company engaged rapper Yung Gravy to create a song, video and exclusive merch collection.

The song, “Strawberries & Creamin’,” debuted on TikTok on May 3 and is now streaming on Yung Gravy’s YouTube channel. The custom line of co-branded merchandise – which Gravy himself describes as “sensational” – is available only by entering a drawing on the NTWRK app

“Yung Gravy’s playful energy and distinct persona have captivated his audience, and we can’t wait to see what Dr Pepper and Yung Gravy fans think of the new track and merchandise line, which leans into both our brand and Yung Gravy’s creativity and uniqueness,” said John Alvarado, senior vice president of Dr Pepper brand marketing.

The exclusive merchandise, designed in partnership with Yung Gravy’s creative team, features a three-piece bundle featuring a gravy boat and a silk-collared shirt – which he wears in the video – modeled after the rapper’s signature button-downs, as well as custom vinyl-inspired drink coasters.

The shirt was designed by Gravy, his longtime merch partner and the team at NTWRK. “We’ve always wanted to do a silk shirt, a bowling shirt, or whatever you want to call this,” he said. “The bottom’s pretty cool too. And we had the freedom to try something cool, and the color scheme is perfect.”

Known for his flashy button-up shirts, it’s no surprise that Gravy would be interested in wearable merch, and he hints that there’s more to come:

“There are a lot of things I want to do with merch and fashion and stuff that doesn’t really make sense from a business standpoint,” he said. “… I think going forward, I’ll probably do more cut-and-sew stuff just because I love how it came out.”

In a nod to Dr Pepper’s 23 flavors, only 23 bundles will be available in a drawing via the NTWRK app for the opportunity to purchase for $1.23. The drawing opens closes on May 11 at 5 p.m. Eastern, when the site will host a livestream to choose the winners.
