BAMKO has announced the hiring of Colleen Hammann as the Los Angeles-based company’s new senior vice president of sales. BAMKO is PPAI 100’s No. 6 distributor.
- Hammann comes to BAMKO after a 16-year career in the beauty industry, working on retail expansion, brand sales strategy and maintaining goals for scaling business.
- She has worked with brands such as Sephora, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.
“I love working with brands to help them grow, find new opportunities and create meaningful connections with consumers,” Hammann says. “Over the years, I’ve built a career around driving growth, creating meaningful brand experiences and leading teams to execute with excellence.
“I’m excited to bring that same energy and expertise to a new arena – expanding my scope beyond beauty while continuing to do what I love: helping brands stand out, sell more and create impact.”
Most recently, Hamman served as the vice president of sales and business development for Bright Beauty Collective. Prior to that, she spent seven years at Estée Lauder working in sales and education.
‘…It’s About Creating Strategic Solutions’
According to BAMKO, Hammann’s responsibilities in her new role will include brand development and sales to ensure sustainable growth for the distributor moving forward.
She says it was that big-picture purview that attracted her to the position.
“It’s not just about selling products,” Hammann says about the role at BAMKO. “It’s about creating strategic, high impact solutions that help brands connect in a meaningful way. [BAMKO’s] approach to sales is thoughtful, creative and built on true partnerships.”
